Rate The Wrestler Evolution - Day 5 - The Rated R Superstar Edge
Greeting My Fellow Smarks, We will kick off another day of EVO here shortly however let's recap yesterday, Muhammad Hassan, the man who somehow got into the RTW scored alot of average lots between 5's and 7's with very few high end scores thrown in. He scored an 66 in his debut on RTW, which put him in 4th place, the highest he'll ever be able to go, and seems like it will continue to go downhill from here.

Once we get to Day 10, I'll post an leaderboard similar to the one we had in the original.

Before the voting starts, I am going to say, please throw in some suggestions for future RTW, since I will be posting an daily poll with this.

Anyways we look at the man, who got into the WWE Main Event by some pretty underhand and dirty tactics, Of course the last time we graded Edge was in 2004, right around the original Taboo Tuesday PPV, and he was struggling to even get over as an Heel, then along came Lita, who has spawned alot of jokes at her expense, and Matt Hardy, who lost the girl of his dreams to Adam Copeland, since that time, Edge has been an refreshing breathe of air in the Main Event scene, atleast in my opinon, Now with him on the verge of an comeback to the ring, Let's see just exactly how far the Rated R Superstar has come since his original ranking on the RTW.

Ring Ability: 8 - Edge has always been solid in the ring, and while there were times when I doubted if even myself would ever enjoy another Edge match again, he came back to the Edge we were enjoying in 2002 when he was fighting guys like Angle, Jericho and others. Edge will never be the best wrestler in the ring, but he pretty much always get's the job done.

Overness - 9:-Edge has been the WWE best heel in the past 2 years, from using Lita and Matt Hardy to advance his career, to his memorial Money In The Bank Title Win against John Cena at New Years Resolution, The fans hate him, and yet despite how much I hated him for the whole Matt Hardy thing, I now find him as my favorite wrestler.

Archivements: 10 - The man has climbed to the top and he did it the good way, and not in the pushed down our throats, and given successful very early, from his multiple Tag Team Title reigns with Christian, to being the Intercontinental Champion on several occusions, to being an 3 Time World Champion, the only thing that has stayed away from him, is an Royal Rumble victory, but he makes up for it, as being the first man to pin John Cena for the Championship and the only man who has retained an World Title against Cena since his superman push, by pinfall.

Work Rate:10 - Like I said earier, there were times, when I didn't think I could enjoy Edge again, but he atleast always puts on a good to great effect. however Destor has made me realize, and don't know why I didn't realize this either considering Edge is my favorite, He fucking bumped his ass off to make Cena look good.

Mic Work/Charisma: 9 - Edge has had some classic promos from his days with Christian, to the overlooked line to X-Pac...Just because you hang around with cool people, doesn't mean you're an cool person, And when Edge get's the mic, you know exactly, that he is The Rated R Superstar!

Finisher: 6 - Sadly, the only thing that brings Edge down is the spear, which sometimes, just looks awful and sometimes looks amazing, I hate it when it looks just like an strong running clothline.

Out Of Ring Activities/Asshole Effect: 7 - Edge, you have been an bad boy, from the Matt Hardy deal, to your many divorces, and god how many times you cheated on your wife. Atleast you're not Batshit crazy

Potential: 8 - I think Edge may of already hit the highlight of his career, but however he is still young and should have many more years left to build on his legacy, as long as he can keep his dick away from Stephanie or Linda McMahon

What He Brings To His Promotion: 10 - Being The Best Heel in the business today, says alot.

Legacy: 9 - Edge is still so young, and yet he has already had one of the best careers an wrestler could have, Who really knows how far Adam Copeland will go.

I gotta disagree with your work rate for Edge. If there was one category I'd give a ten for him that would be it. He works damn hard in the ring and you don't see him rest all too often. The guy is a work horse.

also I think from now on I'll use your method for rating guys, I dig it.

Best heel WWE has at the moment (technically not at this very moment, since he is sidelined). Only thing with Edge is that I find that I occasionally just get tired of him and his talk. Its weird. Throughout E&C I loved him, then when he was face I started liking him but eventually got tired. When he turned heel, I loved him again. When Lita came I hated him, but then in a reverse kind of way I began to like him again. Then came all the Rated-R stuff and I started to not like him so much again.

He's one of the few guys keeping me watching WWE. I'm a pretty big Edge-head, but I didn't like him when he came back from neck surgery. He was really rusty in the ring, and was in general pretty boring. It took him a while, but he finally got entertaining again. I thought he was the goods around the time he was with Lita, but Lita was holding him back.
