How do i format XP?

right, so im trying to install win 2000 over XP, but it seems it doesnt work that way. I have to format my C:/ windows xp thingy so i can install 2000. I have like those reformat disks. So can someone link me/detail me how i can format?

you need a windows 98 boot disk, you can find one here. once you have make a bootdisk restart and put the disk into the Disk drive... then just "Format c:"

I think that's all that's to it.

uhh yeah, thats another thing. I'm not posting from my computer. Mine doesnt have internet, so...is there any other way around this?

Download it on the computer you're on to a floppy disk. You need the floppy disk in the first place.

Put it in, restart the computer, press F8 to go into bios, search through and choose Boot 1st: Floppy, wait for the DOS field to come up and type Format C:

Done.
