Grave of the Fireflys
Yeah, saw this at a record store downtown. Was thinking of getting it tomorrow, as I've heard things. I've also heard its the most depressing movie ever made.
Just wanna get tpww's thoughts before i make the purchase. |

Never heard of it. Do let us know (on a scale of 1-10 as 1-5 just doesn't cut it with me) how depressing it is.

I agree. 1-5 is the laughing stock of number scales.

Just click the link and run your cursor over the video it will say you have to download Veoh TV to watch it in full. I think you just click on the screen where it says and it's easy as anything.

I havent seen it but I have friends who have and they have recomended it to me. It's also a Studio Ghibli film so you know it's going to be good. I have heard it's very depressing though but also brilliant.

I saw it at some anime club thing long ago. It's one of the only animes or anything that made me really tear up or really depressed afterwords. But it is great and if you're an anime fan then you have to own it.
I'd say go buy it. |

Yeah, got this and wow. I thought all the talk beforehand would prepare me for this. Nope. Think I need prozac now. On a scale of 1-10, its a solid 13 in the depressing department. Great movie tho.

Yeah that was ridiculously fucked up. I liked the scene near the end when it kind of flashes back to when they moved into the shelter and the little girl was having the best time any kind could ever have....I thought that worked really well, made the whole film even more tragic
