Yep, Sopranos is back tonight...

I hope they get back to the original format and less of the mushy/family crap.

Some of what it sounds like is going to happen sounds like it could be good.

Yeah I wish I had HBO i never had any intrest in the series but since I found out Buscemi was gonna be on it I really want to watch but I guess I will pick up this seasons dvd when it comes out.

I kind think that they added so many new charachters so there will be plenty people too kill off during the season. That was the big complaint last year. I love him but i think bescumi is going down withing the next 4 episodes.

Last season went downhill and after the first episode this seems worse... they got away from that the show was founded on... too much of the mushy crap... every time he goes to meplhi's office, I know I can go to the bathroom and miss nothing.

I hope it picks up.

Yeah all those who were like, “Yeah, last season was crap.” – NO. No it wasn’t. You really have to watch every episode in order, really watch it and you’ll find that everything that happens is supposed to be there and for a good reason. David Chase knows his shiznit.

From the trailers I seen on HBO, there are so many things to think about and what could happen. Maybe it’s the fact it’s the penultimate season, maybe it’s the current storyline, or maybe it’s a bunch of clips carefully orchestrated into a visual array of red herrings., but I think I will have to tax a line from Ian McKellen in X2 to sum up what season 5 is all about: “A war is coming.”

I kinda agree with you on the Russian. But its harder and better to play the cards we are dealt. In other words – he was shot, on the run, Paulie’s car was gone. That’s about it. Could come back, or he might have died later etc ALL GOOD.

By the end of this season, he could resurface, take Paulie out then go after Tony with Valery and a gang of Russians. Yeah, THE SOPRANOS VS THE RUSSIANS (w/ Johnny Sac “of shit”)

Yeah my mom's friend is going to tape the episodes and send them over, but my mom will only let me watch a few parts i.e. ones without swearing (or at least not much)/fighting, and watches it when I'm asleep or out of the house or upstairs.

First two episodes were lackluster, I dont know what has happened to this show, but it seems like every episode is 3 hours long. Its still a great show, probably the second best show on TV, but they need to get back that feeling that you cant miss a single second of the show. Somehow they've lost that.
