Edge got a "new belt" for his like month long reign, didn't he?
The Rated R spinner belt?

I know whoever has the title is just keeping it warm for Cena and all, but with him gone at least another couple of months, why not a new belt, spinner or otherwise? Hell, imagine how easily they could take one of the replicas and paint over the Centerpiece with something new...A spinning iron cross for Triple H, Orton's logo, or a Spirograph for Jeff to stare at. They don't have to do a radically different design to make it look a little less like Cena's belt.

I too am disappointed in WWE deciding not to make a newer belt/modify the current one for the new champ. I liked when Edge had the rated R spinner.

I was hoping each new champ would get a custom spinner, but I guess not.

None of WWE's current belts are really that cool anyways. For some reason they get rid of anything that looks relatively prestigious.

The WWE's belts these days are pretty shit. Really shit, in fact. I hope they introduce a new WWE Championship belt design at WrestleMania, or something, which could help define the main event more.

The World Heavyweight Championship is probably technically fine, but the belt has changed a fair bit from the old big gold belt, it's just the same shape. I wouldn't opposed to them changing it, since it is a new Championship. Not an emergency, though.

The ECW Championship should really get a more prestigious looking design, too. It's not a hardcore-based promotion anymore, they could use a more classier looking belt.

The Intercontinental Championship needs some slight remodeling. They could do this easily under the radar. A new belt for the United States Championship needs to be payed for in kayfabe by MVP's lucrative contract, ASAP.

The World Tag Team Championship needs to go back to its previous Attitude era design. They were fucking great belts. The WWE Tag Team Championship is actually pretty cool, I think. They were created specifically for SmackDown!, so I like the blue on it. There was no need to remove any trace of blue from the World Tag Team Titles, though.

The Women's Championship is kind of fine, too. It is what it is. I would not be opposed to a new design for that, either, though. The Cruiserweight Title, if it returns, needs a new belt, as well.

I can understand why. It's not that bad, especially compared to most of the other crap the WWE has these days, but to me, it just doesn't look special. The only spinner belt I actually thought was pleasing to the eye was Cena’s U.S. spinner belt. And even that was probably because it was silver rather than gold. But as for the WWE title, I’d just like to see it go back to the design when JBL held it:
