This game is pretty damn fun. Got it brand new at kmart for 12 dollars. I advise everyone here to do the same, cause the game is worth the full 60 bucks despite its poor sales. Definite sleeper here. Its a sandbox game like GTA, with a military twist like Mercenaries. Although there is a lot more civilian life than in Mercs, and has a similar vehicle set to GTA.

Game takes place on a fictional chain of tropical islands. Breathtaking enviornments especialy from high up. Most fun part is the over the top stunts you can do. You have a parachute you candeploy as well as a grappling hook for parasailing from vehicle to vehicle. You can jump on the hood of a vehicle from inside, then deploy the chute or even jump onto another vehicle.

The map is HUGE. There are dense jungles, rivers villages, towns, and even a couple cities. But motly jungle and mountains. Unlimited amount of side missions although there isn't too much variety. However, thanks to the stunt features, and geography, you wont get tired of them.

There is much more that I could go on about, but I'll just end here, and say its 12 bucks. You wont regret it. Go and get it.

I hated hated hated the version I played for ps2, tbh.

I got bored of it in about 10 seconds. Although I have friends who enjoyed it. Are you playing the PS2 or Xbox 360 Version. Coz the PS2 Version is balls.
If you own a 360, have you played Crackdown? Fucking SWEET.

Oh yeah, should mention that have the 360 version, and that the PS2 version is reportedly signifigantly worse.

I have Crackdown too, and While it is a lot of fun, the fact that there are no missions outside of hunting down the bad guys is pretty boring. Very repetitive. The cheats give it some replay value, but the sequel(if there will be one) really needs more varied missions, cause as it is, I only pop it in now once every couple of months.

And after Hulk Ultimate destruction, crackdown seems kind of tame.
