Championship Prestige
What would you say is the order of Championship Prestige overall? I'm talking all (or most) titles from the big promotions.
So, we'd have (This is off the top of my head): WWE World WCW World NWA World TNA World ECW World WWE Intercontinental WWE European WCW/WWE United States ECW TV WWE Hardcore WWE Tag WCW Tag ECW Tag NWA Tag TNA Tag WCW/WWE Cruiserweight WWF Light Heavyweight I'm sure I missed quite a few (I did omit other promotions purposely, though). Also, for our purposes, some titles have been merged (WCW/WWE Cruiser, etc.)... Let's actually make this a bit easier (unless you WANT to list all of them) and list your top five/ten. ![]() |

I refuse to partake in this unless the Million Dollar Belt is added.

Gee...making it tough by throwing in the tag titles as well.
I like a challenge though. |

The World Championships:
NWA World Heavyweight Championship WWE Championship World Heavyweight Championship WCW Championship TNA World Heavyweight Championship AWA World Heavyweight Championship ECW Championship ROH World Championship The secondary championships: WWE/WCW United States Championship WWE Intercontinental Championship FIP World Heavyweight Championship ECW Television Championship ROH Pure Championship The tag team championships: World Tag Team Championship NWA World Tag Team Championship WWE Tag Team Championship WCW Tag Team Championship ROH World Tag Team Championship ECW Tag Team Championship TNA World Tag Team Championship The tertiary championships: WCW Television Championship WWE European Championship The ladies' championships: TNA Knockout Championship WWE Women's Championship NWA Women's Championship WCW Women's Championship The weight class championships: WWE/WCW Cruiserweight Championship NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship WWE Light Heavyweight Championship The hardcore championships: WWE Hardcore Championship WCW Hardcore Championship And I roughly think that is the class order, too. Being a hardcore champion, no matter where it was, does not equate to holding any of the tertiary championships, etc. |

Noid's second list seems about right.

I would agree with Noid and put the US title over the IC title. The US Champion was frequently refered to as automatically the number one contender, which gave it more of a reason for existance rather than just being a generic belt type thing.
And he missed off the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Titles

For a very short amount of time in the early days they had them I think.
And near the end they definatly did, I remember the Filthy animals having something to do with it I think. Also WCW T.V. and U.S Belts ftw, there was some amazing feuds and matches over those belts. |

Xero's and Noid's are the only posts that I'll take seriously. How can all of you forget the awesomeness that was the European Championship? Can anyone remember the epic match between HBK and HHH for that title? It damn near tore DeGenration X in half! It was the greatest match ever!

I know it doesn't count in this list.
But the ROH world title is the most important title in the world to me, since Joe had his run. Gabe books that title as it should be booked, it's not used as a prop to excel storylines, whoever holds it, is treated like a champion. |
