Sprint boats, they are quite popular in NZ, and they are small boats with big motors running on tight courses and have big motors in them. A couple I saw on tv about 5mins ago have big block motors in them 600cui plus. Reduculous shit.
I haven't seen them run in real life. But It'd be insane to be in one.

Also, isn't drag racing fucking sweet?

Also, New Zealand just qualified for the olympics in field hockey, against the odds, that's cool.

So there may be no replacement for displacement, but what do you think of imports running in the 6 second bracket?

i saw the jet boats at Upukangaro just outta wanganui in December, and they are insane. taking a 90 degree corner at 180 plus. And i saw Thunder Downtown just recently, with the GP hydros racing on the Whanganui river, 290k on water, too fast if you ask me
