I am going to buy a new laptop. Suggest me a good processor. Like intel core duo, centrino or even amd.

get the best you can afford. Also get decent built in graphics, not intel.

Depends on what you want to use it for but any dual core laptop is better than a single one. Also Centrino is an Intel laptop platform and not a processor.
