Who are the stiffest American Wrestlers?
Rather...not American, but made their names in America.

Off the top of my head the following names spring to mind:
Lord Steven William Regal
JBL
Fit Finlay (I don't like just calling him Finlay)
Scott Stiener
Vader
Saturn

I would say those guys are probably some of the stiffest around...Regal strangely enough is probably one of the safest as well, but he is stiff. I remeber in the original Tough Enough, he went around to the trainies and told them how he is going to hit them very hard but very safely.

RVD springs to mind. Angle mentioned in an interview with The Sun how he works stiffly as well and referred to HBK and HHH as long-haired sissies for not being able to take it.

Oh but to add to the conversation. I would say Jeff Hardy right now. His matches since his return have been great, but this year he started working really stiff it seems, especially with Triple H, HBK, and Jericho. It may not always be his punches that hit hard but shit I would have to take whisper in the wind!

Joe isn’t stiff, Joe is just a great worker, who can make it look stiff.

I’ve not heard anyone say that he’s stiff, he’s snug, but to excessive.

Low Ki gets my vote, the liberties I’ve seen him take with some UK guys is shocking, absolutely shocking. It’s not even working when you just kick a guy as hard as possible.

Nah broke in through the NWA territories. worked for them for almost 10 years. During that time he had a match for WWWF title against Bob backlund. Did a few tour s in Japan after that. won the AWA title in the mid 80's. Actually never lost it. got stripped for definding it in Japan with out permission. So yeah, he counts.

Having just watched his match vs Shane Storm, no idea how I forgot Eddie Kingston.

Anyone with a passing interest in Chikara should try and track down the match, it's from January this year on the 2 Eyebrows Are Better Than 1 show. Absolutely brutal, I feel exhausted having just watched it.
