What would you do?
Given the Highlander Rory story of him being at a TNA show, who was in the wrong? Rory? WWE?TNA? Or all three?
What would you do in those three situations? Discuss... |

WWE - I think it's fair to prevent their talents from going anywhere they could potentially be taped. Though I don't agree with preventing them from interacting with the TNA talent as a whole, that doesn't apply here.
TNA - They NEVER should have put him on TV. Whether they thought about it or not, they know how WWE feels about their exclusive talent and there's no excuse for what they did. Rory - He was just enjoying the show, but it was foolish for him to do it from within the crowd. Had he been backstage, who knows, maybe nothing would have happened, or maybe he would have only gotten yelled at. I seriously doubt they would have fired him (assuming that's their plan). Overall, it falls on both Rory and TNA, TNA slightly more. WWE was a bit harsh, but they made it clear how they felt and Rory ignored it. What would I have done? If I were TNA, I wouldn't have shown him - or AT LEAST would have cleared it with him first (and if he said no, don't do it). If I were Rory, I wouldn't have been in the crowd. If I were WWE, I wouldn't fire him, but I think I'd job him out a bit, maybe put him in a humiliating gimmick. (Thinking in WWE's mindset.) Last edited by Xero; 04-01-2008 at 04:27 PM. |

I'm thinking more along the lines of Boogeyman's ass.
They wear large pants and his head sticks out, looking like Boogen's ass. |

This was discussed in the other thread. And you know, it's really Robbie's fault. I mean, WWE responded to a situation, TNA took advantage of the situation, but Robbie was dumb enough to walk into it.

Wait a sec: we are talking about Robbie, right? Don't tell me Rory just did the exact same thing. Because if he did, injury leave or not, they deserve to be fired.

KK, sorry, should have looked before posting.
Afterlife- I dont really get the chance to watch much wrestling , that coupled with a few distractions caused the mistake....my bad. |

Xero, how can they give Robbie a humiliating gimmick. He's Highlander Robbie, for crying out loud.
![]() I'd blame TNA and Robbie for this. It was dick move on TNA's behalf, and they should have cleared it with him first. I mean, do you think anyone even cared they saw "Derrick Graham-Couch" in attendance. If they figured out it was Robbie, do you think they even then would have cared? Robbie was just stupid for attending a TNA event when he was told not to. |
