I'm more worried about the dream sequences than anything. That was one of my favorite things in both games.

They've got some Puerto Rican guy playing Jack Lupino. That's lame. He needs to be an Aryan psychopath. Loved that character in the game.

I remember playing the games and beating the games and liking the games but I don't really remember too much else. Except that the diolouge would get corny sometimes. If they uncorny it, it should play out well.

Just went and saw it with a bunch of friends....

It was the worst piece of shit that I have seen in long while....

We used to have a saying when referring to bad movies saying it was "In the name of the king" bad....now its been replaced with "Max Payne Bad"...

The acting was horrible...and action was shit....story really didnt make any sense....

Only funny thing about it is that Chris O'donnel is in it and when he pops on the screen we all looked at each other and joked about Robin.

I didn't think it was terrible. The only thing that I think ruined it was Luda (he was really bad ) and the dialouge would get kinda corny at times.

I don't really have any interest in this, and really haven't followed it or given any thought to it past the tv spots.
I won't see it in the theater, and its far from a priority on my movie-watching agenda.

With that being said, from what I see it doesn't look all that awful, like most of it's VG derived kin. I may or may not end up seeing it on tv or wherever when I come across it.

If people go into this movie expecting the game, they're gonna be pretty disappointed. People who haven't played the game and know nothing about it though, will probably think it was alright. All the key characters in this movie were cast pretty terribly, but if you can get past Wahlberg being a pretty lame Payne, it's alright for what it is.

I can't even remember the games much anymore. I beat them right when they came out, and haven't really thought about it since.

But being a video game movie, I don't really expect the movie to be anything like the game at this point.

From what I've read from people who've seen it, this seems to have turned out exactly how I feared. Max Payne was the one game I really wanted to see turned into a movie, love everything about the story, the backdrop, the atmosphere etc but when I heard Marky Mark was gonna be the lead, I was pretty sure they were gonna fuck it up. Trailer was pretty sweet. Gave me some hope. But it seems it was false. Fuckers
