Arrow update on rvds contract

Thanks to Thushyan Nadarajah for the following:

Interview with Rob Van Dam
Date: Saturday, December 13, 2003
Location: Toronto, Canada
Interviewer: Joltin' Joe

Joltin' Joe introduces his guest, WWE Intercontinental champion and RAW superstar, Rob Van Dam!

Joe welcomes Rob to the hotline and asks Rob how his wife's been doing since the accident, which occurred in 1999. Rob says both their lives have changed dramatically. He states that he and his wife have went through some tough times and it has helped to build a stronger relationship.

Joe goes on to ask Rob to distinguish between ECW and WWE. Rob says ECW's fans were uncontrollable. He says his wife was shocked when he first took her to an ECW event because beer cans were flying everywhere and fights broke out among the audiences in the arenas. Rob says the WWE has much more control over their fans and there isn't as much "hardcore" violence as there was in ECW.

Joe says there are some rumors circulating around the Internet about Rob's contract status and asks Rob to clear things up. Rob says he's very optimistic and plans on staying with the company for a few more years. He mentioned that he's currently in the middle of negotiations with WWE management which is going smoothly.

Joltin' Joe thanks Rob Van Dam for being a great guest and the interview ends there.

Not trying to be an ass, but when posting news from on, could you please just sum up what you re trying to get at in a few sentences instead of posting a whole article? Thanks.

Yeah, a more concise post on what you're updating and perhaps some opinion to spur discussion would make your posts more worth reading.

Also, not everything needs a new topic.

Hope he stays... he's wildly popular and draws. Vinnie Mac would be a moron if he let RVD's contract expire.

I believe he's already stated it's all about the World Heavyweight Championship. He said something like he doesn't care about the I.C. title cause he's had it so many times.
