2008 CFL Season Thread
Well i'm not sure if anyone here even watches the cfl, but if so then post your thoughts on this season which started today w/ Calgary beating B.C surprisingly and Montreal whupping Hamilton not so surprisingly.

Also going to the bombers opening game against toronto tommorow

Anyway I also think BC will make it to the finals but I see the bombers getting there again, too much of a quarterbacking controversy possibility in TO.

BC does have a quarterbacking controversy. I dont think either of the guys were quite ready and it shows in the preseason and season opener.

Bob Ackles died Sunday. This guy was a leader for the CFL and he spent time in the NFL.

I wish they still showed CFL games here in America. I remember they used to have it on one of the sports network here (think it was Fox Sports) but I don't think they carry it anymore (well Fox Sports switched Comcast Sports here in New England so that might have something to do with it) I'd like to watch it.

It really is too bad, CFL's fucking awesome to watch, its alot more fast paced and higher scoring then the NFL.

Yeah I dont' want to get on a CFL vs NFL argument here, but the CFL game iteself, is really entertaining. Doesn't have the glits and glamour of the NFL but the game itself is great.
