What if ?

What if WWE was the one to lose the monday night wars and WCW had won.
Would WCW still be on the air?
Would TNA be alive?
What stars would have jumped?
Would Vince have worked for WCW?

Wrestling would be dead as we know it. WCW was destine fail. The wrestling scene would have broken back down into a regional game. RoH and TNA would be reconized as the forces in wrestling, in all probabilty. Vince would probably have overdosed on something. His kids would probably have tried to regroup and rebuild a promotion or worked for other promotions.

I only say Vince would have od or offed himself because he has been so use to being the number 1 guy, there is no way he could or would work for someone else. Bischoff was an employee, not a owner, that is how he could stomach his pride and come to WWE.

Depends on when it would have gone under.

If it had gone under at the first WrestleMania, the NWA would likely have been number one well into the 90s, probably with the AWA right behind them. The 90s would have been AWA vs NWA.

If they had gone under in 1996 or there-about (the dawn of the Monday Night War), WCW would easily have still been in business today. I would guess Vince have continued to find a way to run regional shows about five years after their downfall. ECW would have been eaten up by WCW, likely before 2001.

If WWE had gone out around 2001, after losing the Monday Night War, I don't know how it would have worked out. Time Warner didn't want WCW, it was a money sink mainly because Bischoff wrote ridiculous contracts. I think they would have gone dark a while later once Time Warner dropped them (unless Bischoff turned it around) and Bischoff would have bought it up and restarted it with Vince (under the World Wrestling Federation banner).
