Messed up movies are the best. I've been meaning to see Virgin Suicides... what the hell is May about anyways? Well, here's my list of messed up movies (if you would call these messed up):

Requiem for a Dream
Seven (kinda messed up, at least the end sort of was)
Trainspotting

Soon to be added (maybe) is Thirteen, once I get me hands on it.

Yes those are all good movies, I dunno though the more I watch Donnie Darko the more I don't like it.

I read a book by the guy who wrote The Virgin Suicides novel, called Middlesex, and it was fucked up but good.

I saw Storytelling a couple of weeks ago, and it is agreeably fucked up, though how good it is is a different matter.

Yeah Storytelling was kinda disappointing since it was Solondz's followup to Happiness.

I love May! I did a thread about it on the old boards. Pretty twisted stuff! We had rented it for lack of anything better at the video store, it seemed half way decent. We were really surprised by it.
