For those outside of the UK, skysports.com is a sports news channel we have here in the UK.

Randy Orton was on the show for about 30 minutes today in order to promote SummerSlam. He was very well spoken and put over the PPV as one of the big four must-see events of the year.

The interesting parts were when he was responding to questions that viewers had sent in. I thought they brought up a number of worthwhile talking points.

From what I can remember the highlights of what he was asked...

1) Who he respected most in wrestling...and his answer was short and to the point. He said one name only, and that was the Undertaker, saying he was constantly there for help and advice. Anyone surprised?

2) Was a shot at Hogan. When asked who he most wanted to face in the ring, he said Hogan, because he lost to him last time and really shouldn't have, with all his hip replacements. He said that he should have beaten him easily since he was basically a "plastic man". Pretty funny stuff and a definate pot shot.

3) When asked if it was daunting getting into the business, he replied that he was very quick and on TV within 18 months....and stated that he was not scared of filling his father's shoes because he "filled them pretty quickly". While he said this, he constantly repeated that he was not being arrogant...but what is he, arrogant or just confident? Thoughts?

4)When asked how the business now compares to ten years ago with names like Austin and Micheals, Orton said that it was more athletic now and they had raised the game a step further. He said that Micheals is a great athlete, no doubt, but the game has much more high flying and is generally a step up from what it was then. Thought this one was worth talking about as so many here would disagree, including myself if I am honest.

5) He said that he will be backstage at Summerslam and may have to run down during a match and cause some trouble. is it for bvuys, or is it going to happen, if so, in what match?


Thought soe of the points could generate a bit of discussion in what was quite an interesting view into how Orton feels about himself and a few others...

I didn't bother with it, he was on there a while ago when he was the champ, should've had cm punk or someone else on there this time.

I think Orton's role at Summerslam can consist of him chatting with Batista about the Evolution idea again and that's about it..but I'd be surprised if there was any interference in Cena vs. Batista
