I think TNA is trying to make Matt Morgan into the new Goldberg
Morgan does the same gesture before his helivator, starts his finisher from the same position and is basically doing what Goldberg did for a while, destroy lower level wrestler. PRobably start having "MORRRRRRRR GAN! chants piped in soon enough

Yeah not gonna happen, Matt Morgan is horrible. I mean, Goldberg was bad but he had good charisma so it made him, but Morgan was absolutly horrible.
WWE dumped him, TNA picked him up as they usually do but he wont ever get nearly to the same level as Goldberg. I dont see what ppl see in him. |

Morgan isn't bad. He has hella charisma. The only reason WWE dumped him is because he wasn't ready yet and they just pushed him to hard without giving him enough training. Then they put him in retarded gimmicks and killed any chance of him getting over. TNA put him in a decent gimmick and he is getting over.

C'mon BDC, there was nothing wrong with his WWE g-g-g-g-gimmick!

I don't mind Matt Morgan, but he shouldn't get a Goldberg style push.

Instead of "Who's next?" It's gonna be "Who Cares?"

Going to TNA was a great decision on his part. He's vastly improved in the ring, he's got a decent gimmick and he's getting over. It sucks that Tomko is gone, I would have enjoyed a feud between the two. |

Cornette predicted a similar path for Matt Morgan. The man is fantastic on the mic, is a good worker for a guy his size, adds impact behind all his moves, is agile and has charimsa. He's also getting a job on American Gladiators, which would probably mean he would be the active wrestler reaching the largest audience on a weekly basis. TNA is right to push Matt Morgan, and the way they are going about it is perfectly fine, in my opinion. A Goldberg-style push would suit Morgan. Start off small, simple, and let the fans either get behind him, or not. |

Really the Goldberg angle could be used for every wrestler. If it was played right even Max Mini could be the next Goldberg.
Seriously though, are wrestling fans really that stupid to not recognise a recycled storyline??? Oh yeah, wait... |
