“For now, his wrestling gives him excellent penetration ability for takedown transitions and a strong ground sense to help his positioning for ground-and-pound and submission set-ups.”

“Kurt's planning to participate in at least one MMA fight when he gets the right offer.

“To date he has not signed with any fight promotion.”

It's be hilarious if he does get an MMA match and he runs out and headbutts his opponent so the match starts off with a point deduction and 5 minutes waiting period..

You don't automatically get a 5 minute recovery period for an illegal shot.

And Kurt Angle says he won't do a fight for less than $2 million. Fuck neither would I! Eventhough I've only got a BJJ blue belt and about 6 month worth of MMA stand up training (and nothing even close to full time stuff), I'll start spreading the word I can do MMA now.

And with his neck he wants to fight? IDIOT! Angle doesn't know how good he has it. You know, gorgeous wife and kid with a 7 figure bank account isn't enough these days.

It's not automatic for those either. It's the referees choice. Nothing in the rules say it's an automatic 5 minute rest period.

The sad thing is, after he broke his neck in ECW, and he came back to call that match and then they showed his new gimmick, he was billed as a an "ultimate fighter" type do to the popularity of the early UFC..
