What is the difference between a Hardcore match, No Holds Barred match, Fall Count Anywhere match, or a Street Fight match?

Hardcore, Street Fight and Falls Count Anywhere are pretty much the same. Hardcore and Street Fight tend to have the weapons at the ready and Street Fights tend to be fought in street clothes, sometimes in a predetermined area. Really though, "Hardcore" just took the place of "Street Fight" in the Attitude era except in gimmick street fights (Chicago, etc).

No Holds Barred is the only one that's really different out of the four, usually just No DQ and falls must be done in-ring.

Realistically, they're all just No DQ matches and it's stupid for WWE to put more than one on one vote.

A falls count anywhere match means no dq, and falls count any where. All the others are no dq's that the fall has to happen in the ring.

No Holds Barred really shouldn't be a 'hardcore' match. It shoudl pertain to the use of illegal moves such as eye guages, low blows, choke holds. At least that was my understanding of the original rules. As has been said nowadays it's just a No DQ / Hardcore match under a different name.

Yeah like how a Hell in a Cell suddenly became falls count anywhere when Trips pinned Jericho on top of the cell but now I think it's back to fall count only in the ring Not sure.

Though I'm not 100%, I think WCW did. I believe it might have been during the Jericho vs Malenko fued. When he call out some jobber and hold a randomly name matched. If they never did this I'd be surprised.

In my fictional Pro wrestling Promotion DHW (disturbingly Hardcore Wrestling) later changed to PWF (Pro Wrestling Federation) There was a title called the American Title that was shaped like an american flag. The rules for that particular belt were falls count anywhere but you could be dqed if you used weapons or illegal manuevers, however you could throw your opponent against anything just not use the weapons specifically to blugeon them with.

I had a hardcore title that was Pin Falls only count anywhere and there was no dq.

The Submission/ TKO title wasn't allowed to leave the ring, if it did both competitors must not make intentional physical contact untill returning to the ring, it could only be won by submission or knock out.

The Blood Title was the most complicated. It could be won only by first making your opponent bleed, then pinning them, however, you could also win a rematch by just getting the pin on your opponent without making them bleed, but you only get one rematch if this is the case and if you fail to make your opponent bleed regardless of your win, you do not get a title shot for 45 days.

The DHW title was hardcore but pin falls in ring only no count out.

The PWF title was 20 count outside the ring, pin falls in ring only, dq on.

there was also a lighheavyweight/ super heavy weight title, and every year a super heavyweight would face a lightheavy weight at the big show of the year and whoever won would decide whether the title was in contention for those 300+ or 210 and below.

Yeah each match changes its rules at will anyway. WWE Falls Count Anywhere matches used to involve a pinfall, then a 10 count to get back into the ring or you'd lose.

Falls count anywhere matches that end in the ring suck ass....

Thats what I liked about the old WWF Hardcore title....they were always scoring a pinfall in the locker room or in a ball pit....hell even the Mississippi river..

You can also consider the Wrestlemania X Falls Count Anywhere But There Are Unlimited Falls Until One Man Cannot Get Back Into the Ring By 60 Seconds Match. Pretty ridiculous.
