Games set in the wild west?

Also, I think a game Fable like game would work well with a western theme.

Gun and Call of Juarez were. CoJ was a first person shooter and Gun was a third person type of thing. It got ok scores, but I absolutely loved it. You'll be able to pick them up very cheap now I would think.

I was wondering more along the lines of, is there not a market for western games or have they all been kinda crap? I mean it just doesn't seem like there are many games in that genre.

Sunset Riders was pretty awesome (20 years ago), but I can't think of anything REALLY good recently.

It's been a really under-utilized genre.

That is what I was thinkin'. I was talking with KK the other day. A Fable like game set in the wild west or a wild west inspired fantasy world would be cool.

Pretty much a dying breed. The most recent Western-themed games I can think of are Red Dead Revolver, Rising Zan, Call of Juarez, Darkwatch, Gun, and the Wild Arms series (I think).

That's about it to the best of my knowledge.
