How often are PS3 updates coming out?

I could swear I've had like 3 in the last week. Maybe it was only two, but I'm pretty sure I got three; One when the Incredible Hulk was freezing ( checked specifically for an update), one when I was going to play LittleBigPlanet, and one now. I technically don't need to do one now, but it's there and all...

I'd have just bumped the last thread I made, but you know, some tard fucked it up.

So the question is, how often are these coming out, and are the minor fixes (This one fixes a minor interface issue with the keyboard) just masks for the usual "beat piracy with constant updates" crap?
