Last couple of weeks: Impact > RAW
No, I'm not saying it to piss off the WWE contingent.
And I'm not saying that Impact has been the best wrestling show I've ever seen or anything, but it makes RAW look pretty weak in comparison. Some of you want to put this on the roster split, creative, Vince, etc. Here's a crazy idea: Blame the wrestlers. Hate the roster split or not, there is more than enough talent on both sides (for the sake of this argument, I'm not counting ECW which most acknowledge as a developmental brand anyways) to produce a show worlds better than Impact. You have a solid group of main event guys on Raw and some useful parts on Smackdown as well. But I guess that Vince has the outlook that business is down, so we'll go with the same crap that's gotten him to this point. Problem with that is that it is the EXACT same crap. It didn't draw before and its not gonna draw now. Its interesting, considering the majority of what we see on TNA is mostly recycled WWE crap, it should be an even bigger reason to be superior. Still, its not. The main event mafia angle isn't all that amazing. I wasn't crazy about it when it was the millionaires club in WCW. Yet, it should show you how bad WWE is when the recycled garbage is more compelling than a live RAW. (I'll wonder aloud if I was the only one who shut the TV off at 10:45 stating that the main event is just gonna end in a massive brawl amongst all the lumberjacks) Anyways, watching TNA feels like watching the minor leagues of baseball whereas WWE feels like the majors. And you know what? It ain't a bad thing. Watching guys who actually wanna put some effort in and look like they give a crap about the match. I suppose the term I'm looking for is 'hungry' Say what you want about Coma Joe, AJ, etc, but there's some actual intensity in there, which is especially noticable when I'm watching guys like Orton, Batista, etc mail it in every Monday Night. Discuss your stance on Impact vs Raw. |

Yeah, TNA has improved at the same time RAW has gotten worse. Completely agree here.

I haven't really watched any of impact lately, nor have I finished an entire episode of raw lately. I think it is all pretty crap right now.

Yeah, I think the question here is which pile of crap smells the best.

Yeah I agree. While the angles and backstage stuff on Impact has been more ridiculous than usual, the wrestling has been better (except for the X-Division stuff, but that's been consistently ridiculous for a while, in my opinion).
Yes, that would be awesome. I'd love to start following RoH. I feel like I'm missing out on great wrestling. |

If you wanna see every match on the card go a good 15 minutes, some a the most predictable storylines ever, and have every title reign go a good few years then yes, RoH is the place to be.

..the only way you can keep up with RoH for free is the video and news wires. I post the video wires I post in the youtube thread.
But that would be a terrible way to get your RoH fix. |

I've been saying for the past couple of weeks that TNA has really gained my attention again. Liking it over WWE at the moment.

TNA is the better product right now. Scott Steiners promo at the start of the last impact before Turning Point was a better show opener than anything WWE have done in a long time. the PPV was great. Angle and his somersault bomb on Abyss was insane. Nash/Joe was a great match and AJ/Sting was good as well.
I think the corner is being turned to a degree. The only problem is with how this angle ends. Ideally, you need the Originals to win the final battle and the MEM to pretty much be gone from the company at the end. the issue with that is they are nearly all on big long contracts, so the fued is going to end weakly it would seem. The option they do have is to make Sting the leader somehow. Maybe have Angle turned on, or have him jump sides somehow. Have him hold onto the belt for as long as possible, and then when his contract is up, have him take on Joe or AJ in a bigly built headline match and have TNA go over and Sting leave. Either way, as long as MEM keep going over for the time being, this angle has alot of legs left in it. And yes, I did turn off Raw early since it was obviously going to finish as a schmoz, and all the personal fueds running up to the PPV would peel off to fight each other. |

And:
Last couple of months: Smackdown > Raw, too. Perhaps Destor or someone else will even say ECW > Raw. Just because it is 'Raw' doesn't mean it is supposed to be the best. |

Gotta say Impact's arena seems to be the only thing they have improved.
Overall I still say RAW >Impact instead of RAW >>>>>Impact. |
