I downloaded The Wrestler, and when I played it, the actual movie says "This movie has been encrypted in order to view you must visit torrentm8.com and follow the instructions.

So I go and it wants me to do trial offers and shit, to get an apparently needed codec to view. WTF

I fell for something like that once. Can't remember what the "movie" was that I was downloading but after installing the codec it turned out to be some 9/11 conspiracy thing and every ten minutes my browser would automatically open up with some ad crap.

A system restore got rid of it but it was damn annoying.

Yeah it's a fake obviously. There is no leak of The Wrestler. Check Demonoid to see if one is actually available, never had a fake there.
