My lord, this is awful. I was watching this the other day and my girlfriend (who has just started watching) was like "was he really in an accident?" and I told her to wait until they showed the 'exclusive footage'. Once they did, she goes 'yeah, definitely fake' right away.

On one hand, I appreciate that they are trying something different, but the execution leaves a ton to be desired. Jeff Hardy probably wasn't a good choice for this angle....well, let me rephrase that. The Jeff Hardy character is fine in it, but whenever it comes to acting or talking, Jeff is one of the least convincing people in the entire WWE.

IF this leads to a Christian return, though, all is forgiven.

I love the "cellphone" footage they showed. A guy running out of the woods with a phone recording video...why exactly? Could understand if he came from another car but he just seems to randomly come out of the trees.

And vince wonders why wwe movies is considered a laughing stock.

Jeff seems to be o.k. when he has a person to bounce with. When's he just "acting", like there, he's less than great.

Yeah it was...barely tolerable when I saw it on Smackdown and its still a stupid way to bring in Christian. ESPECIALLY since the original angle was to have "Beth" injured enough to go to the hospital. Not...."shook up".

This was actually one of my huge problems with it, too. What is it with the WWE talking themselves down? They create a storyline for one of their top guys where he is broke, and only the following week come up with an explanation as to how a guy performing at such a high level could be broke (other than: "we can't pay him shit") and now they have their WWE Champion not even be recogniseable in sketches.

And yes, this was a sketch.

SPOLIERS FOR SMACKDOWN 1/16

The pyro that went off prematurely during Jeff's entrance actually looked pretty sweet. The slow motion replays were great. I'll give WWE credit with this making it look pretty damn real.

Yeah it was very well done, especially the ball of flames.

I also give credit to Jeff, I remember Goldberg said in an interview one time that the pyro (understandably) hurt like fuck. So Jeff took one for the team.

The initial shots look great, personally I think the selling after was a bit of a let down, but the actual stunt itself was sick

The actual pyro was GREAT!

The acting afterwards was horrible. WHo was that guy jumping around saying "where are the EMTS!"
