An Official Petr Nedved Appreciation Thread

He may not be the man anymore but damn, he's a quality hockey player and he's sure helping the Oil right now as they struggle and perhaps make it into the playoffs...

Once again, thanks Slats...

But I could be off a year or something

Nedved with another goal last night - Oilers beat the Kings 3-1

Next - The Yotes....:foc:

Nedved used to play for the Pens. Then they traded him away like everyone else

Actually, I was reading the Journal this weekend and GM Kevin Lowe won't speculate but he was quoted in the paper saying that Nedved was not a rental player and that he wanted to keep him. The only way I see that is if the Oil make it to the first round and they use the money they were going to pay Salo with next season as Nedved's salary. A third possibility is that they would stretch the payments out. Either way, I wouldn't complain if he returned next season...

BTW, 2 assists and 1 sweet goal again last night. 13 points in 13 games...liking him a lot more than Oates...
