TPWW Power 25...
Would we be interested in such a thing? How would we rank, who would we rank? I figures we would only count TNA and WWE as they are on tv with weekly shows. I would keep track of stats, but I would need to figure out the base line and how to assign points.

I'm thinking Every wrestler starts at 0. I would add or subtract points according to wins or losses and holding a title. Obviously who has the most point would be #1 for the week, then fill out the next 24 spots from there.

I'm thinking WWE and WHC gets +5 point, with a point added every week they hold on to the title.

ECW and TNA Champion gets +4 points, with a point added every week they gold on to the title.

IC, US, X Division, Knockouts, Diva, Womens, and any Tag Champion get +3 points, with a point added every week they remain champion.

Winning a match gets +2 points, losing a match gets -2 points. Being on the winning side of a tag match get +1 (if you didn't score the pin or submission), being on the losing side gets -1 point (if you weren't pinned or submitted).

If the win is against a champion (but non title), it is +2 point for the win and then half the value of the title in question (so +3 points for a non title win against a WWE or WHC, +2 points for ECW or TNA, +1.5 for any other.) The champion would get -2 points for losing.

Winning a title would mean +2 points plus the value of the title from above. The former champion would get -2 points for the loss, and lose the value of the title, but retain the point for length of their title run, but lose a point every week until that reach zero or until they regain another title.

I think that sounds like a pretty solid system if you really wouldn't mind keeping it updated.

Also, I would just start out fresh, no trying retroactivily look up past wins, just start with say the January 17 - 23 with every at a base of 0, then add the points, so Cena and Hardy will probably automatically be at the top and then over time people will actaully move around.

I think instead of a win on ppv counting towards more, maybe a +1 point for appearing on the ppv.

Now what about the royal rumble? I'm thinking we should figure out points for being in that.

Maybe, but I also think for points for lasting x amount of time, points for eliminating the most other wrestlers as well.

Maybe +2 points for lasting the longest, +2 points for eliminating the most number of people. +3 points for winning. +2 for entering at #1 or #2 and making it to the final 2. This only counts for the Royal Rumble.

Also I think winning king of the ring, money in the bank, or king of the mountain, should be a +2 on top of any other points for winnning matches.

I'm think any match that has 3 or more wrestlers but only one pin fall should work with the winner get +2 for the win, the person getting pinned (or submitted) get -2 points for the loss, and anyone else in the match gets -1 just like a tag match.

In a match with 3 or more wrestlers with elemitnation style rules, +2 for every elemination a wrestler gets, -2 points for being eleminated. I.E. in a 3 way dance with say Orton, JBL and Jericho. Lets say Orton pins JBL, then Jericho pins Orton. JBL would get -2 points for being eleminated. Orton would get +2 for eleminating JLB but -2 point for getting eleminated for a net total of 0 points, and Jericho gets +2 points for elemanting Orton. Now if Jericho eliminated both, he would get +4 point, while they both get -2 points.

I don't know if adding more points to a match is a great idea, unless it's a battle royal or Rumble. It might give people like Cena and HHH an unfair advantage. I don't know.

I'd suggest you just make your own personal 25, but you'd always have Nash at number one and somehow list Bret Hart at 5000.

I'd suggest you just make your own personal 25, but you'd always have Nash at number one and somehow list Bret Hart at 5000.
Actaully right now, Cena should be winning if we are tracking tv/ppv wins as current champion.

At first I was still thinking more like WWE's stupid power 25 for some reason. I guess it makes sense though. but guys like Cena and HHH (mainly HHH I think) get so many handicapped matches regularly that even if they lost a lot of matches they could still number 1 or two for a while. But then again, guys like Miz and Morrison wrestle or at least appear almost on every show so they could get some high rankings.

It'll be a little tricky to figure out how to really score everything considering this is a fake sport.

Yeah, I have a feeling Miz and Morrison who seemingly show up 3 times a week, and get wins, plus have tag team titles (which allows them the build up points as well) are going to shoot to the top.

Also, this kind of system would have put Londrick at the top because WWE simply forgot they were champions and they last a year.

I got the basic spread sheet set up, but does any know a good place to find the result for a show with a million pop ups? WWE.com does say who wins pinned who in a tag match.

I watched the rumble, and I only counted who was in the matches, not who was ring side (i.e. HBK gets no points). Also by my count HHH and Bigshow both eliminated 6 people in the Rumble (tiying for the most eleminations), and I believe HHH ended up lasting longer than Rey Mysterio. So HHH will get bonus points for both most and longest, Bigshow will also get bonus points for most, I may split the bonus +2 between Show and HHH. Orton gets +3 for winning the rumble.

Any problems with that?
