To new heights! I like it because the setting and premise are just rediculous, Flair's cool sweater. Flair's awesome promo just because it was them 5 guys (and Sid).
After I saw this, I decided to watch WM 8. It was and might still be my favourite Wrestlemania. Roberts/Taker, Santana/Michaels, Flair/Savage, Piper/Bret, Hogan out of the way of all the great matches. The clusterfuck finish to Hogans match with Sid is a thing of beauty. The Godfather not only missing his cue, but not even being prepared to even run to the ring. Mostly though, gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan give the best 3 hours of wrestling comentary thats ever been delivered. |
