GM MODE for SvR 2010

i know i'm a few months before we even start seeing anything with this game
but i just really wanna see who misses the GM MODE and who wants it back in next years game, or who wants to see it buried forever.

The other main point about this topic is that CAREER MODE just F'N sucks badly and i hate only being able to play EXHIBITION and TOURNIMENTS which makes it very very boring but atleast in 08 the GM MODE made it have longivity as you might know.

GM Mode was cool, but I think it could use a major overhaul if they plan on bringing it back.

Also, there are storylines in this year's game, but they're character-specific. You can only play as Jericho, CM Punk, John Cena, Triple H, Undertaker, or a co-op with Batista and Rey Mysterio. On one hand, it was cool as all of the storylines were unique, but I would have liked to had other options.

Last one I played was '06, they took GM mode out? That was the only thing that kept me playing.

I wasn't really that bothered by GM mode either way. It was cool, but it not being included didn't turn me away from the game.

I like the character specific stories, and they can keep it next year. Just as long as they turn 'Career mode' into the SD2 season mode. Text only, non character related stories. The career mode got old after I topped up the stats of my main CAW. Simply because I could do the same thing in exhibition.

Wasn't bothered about GM Mode. It was interested to begin with, but after going through one year, that was more than enough for me.

Career needs to be about storylines, and decent ones where you dont repeat the same storys and face the same people when you go through it multiple times. The RTW's were a good start, but once you reached Wrestlemania, that was it. I know its abit hard to do, what with limited disc space, but if they produced a decent storyline within career mode, Id be happen.

Look at Prizefighter, the overall game wasn't amazing, but I absolutely loved the career mode. Some parts were cheesey as hell, but I felt the story was good and actually made me want to carry on and finish it rather than just giving up or playing it without enjoying it.

I'm not even sure it's an issue of disc space. Sure, voiceovers and HD models take up space, but I think the main issue is how much time they take up in terms of implementation. Granted, HD on a DVD is limiting, but I'm not sure that's the only issue.

I miss it myself.
I found myself using General Manager mode more than any other mode in the previous SVR installments. With a bit of tweaking, it could be absolutely perfect. I remember in one of the Fire Pro wrestling games from japan they had a scout option for finding new talent. That would be a killer way to unlock the newer wrestlers in the game via general manager mode.

They did, but they did not change much.
One of the games added a house show type of deal you could schedule in order to bring caws into the GM mode and not have awful ratings.

I never liked it....Maybe if you could book the shows and actually see the storylines, that would be fucking tits.

But they need to go back to HCTP Storylines....Voiceovers dont mean shit to me when playing retarded storylines. HCTP was good IMHO.

Or go back to the old system of reliving the past years big stories with your own character! Like the Gamecube games.

I enjoyed GM Mode, but it does need some help. If it does come back it needs changes, but I do not know what it needs though.

Maybe just for starters, have title unification matches available once you've earned enough championships. Also, if you've won all the titles possible including the world belts, you shouldn't have the option of competing in the Rumble match or MiTB @ WM unless you drop the belt somehow before either of the aforementioned PPV's. I'd also like to see some kind of thing where when you enter the HoF, instead of just getting an on-screen notification, before the next time your wrestler competed at WM, have a short FMV with a brief induction for the superstar. Just a few thoughts.

but what they need to do is bring back the GM MODE (Re-DONE)

for example:::

1. before you pick your wrestlers you the players is able to put what title you want on each brand (up to four slots..........tag team titles include one slot)

for example:

RAW:::

World Heavyweight Title
IC Title
US Title
World Tag Team Titles

SMACKDOWN:::

WWE Title
WWE Tag Team Titles
Cruiserweight Title (if unlockable)
Women's Title

ECW:::

ECW title
Diva's title
Hardcore title (if unlockable)
European title (If unlockable hopefully next year)

so as you see by the example say i would be RAW so thats the titles I WOULD PERFER on my show and you also choose what titles would be on the other shows before starting (LIKE I DID JUST ABOVE THIS)
thats what i would do. SEE four different spots (5 if they wanted but four cuz tag titles could be claim as just one spot since its two titles but same) tookin' on each show including such titles if were unlockable but would be better if they were for this very reason.

2. when it comes to like P.P.V do the samething but fix the ratings and make it so i do have matches that would get the right ratings instead of us always doing 5 matches and lossing while they are doing 3 matches and winning make it even like that (if ya kno what i mean?)

3. have more than 20 wrestlers on each roster say 30 or 35 now thats including created ones but now it might need to be 40 not say we'll all use those many up but more is good if you wanted too.

4. More storylines for example have like (3 way story lines or fatal four way storylines) so that when you have a storyline and wanted to add another person you don't erase your normal storyline like what wold happen on SvR 08 that really got on my nerves.......it should be aslong as the same two is in the match the rival goes on even in a singles rival.

5. ADD back triple threat tag team matches

6. go more indepth with the tag team thing from '09 don't get me wrong loved it but add more.

7. Make the tag finishers have more impact than what was on '09 except for a couple, The other ones was done like a normal move no glass breaking which totally took away from the tag team finishers and add more creative ones.

8. OH YA another thing if they do have the GM MODE like this don't put any wrestlers as the GM's make sure its not playable characters. like (stephanie, vickie, teddy long, vince, shane , so on and so on etc...

i hated the fact i couldn't pick JBL to play on my gm mode roster because he was the gm or the guy telling you what to do or how stuff's going HATED THAT

9. also add weapons to HELL IN A CELL not so much Elimination Chamber and have it where you can do a royal rumble but make it so you pin the wrestlers like you know and be-able to face or go for a title and if they keep the roster editor please make so your able to make the title vacant so if do a tournament you don't have to face somebody at the end its just the last two finalist going for the title.
and also add triple threat and fatal four way as eliminations also if the person wanted that way instead of always having to do a battle royal where you can't get out of the ring.

10. well i'm out of ideas at the moment but what i think i said here ain't too far of a reach to do and i think it would have more LONGTIVITY and anyone who didn't like the GM MODE would probably agree with this one as being a better way to do it and probably would rather play it if it was like so.

I THINK THIS WOULD MAKE THE GAME BETTER!! give your thoughts and ideas on this

ya this year they should try and add create a titantron video for your created wrestlers maybe like a 30 or 45 second video that loops that would of been way better than that stupid ass HIGHLIGHT REEL
