Trying to make a decision
So I think it's time for me to get hip again and spring for a new console. Problem is, I can't decide which one to get.
I am leaning toward a PS3, mainly because I want to play The Show and I hate Madden on Xbox. Before Wii is mentioned, I bought my mom one for Christmas. PS2 is also an option, I really don't mind being a generation behind on graphics since the new games are still being released. So I want TPWW to try and sell me on a console. I may put up a poll later. |

What is your decision? PS3 vs PS2? It seems like the games you like are on PS3 and not on Xbox 360 so go for the PS3. Also, Xbox 360 is made by Microsoft. Keep that in mind.

Uh, sounds like you've sold yourself. Get the PS3 and save TPWW bandwidth.

Depends on if you want online or not, really.
If you do, you have to go next-gen. But if it's not a requirement, the PS2 has arguably the biggest and best library of any console. If you haven't played it it can keep you entertained for years. Plus most games you pick up will be dirt cheap, whether you buy new or, more likely at this point, used. So I'd personally go PS2 just for the size and quality of the library. Just remember that aside from imports the stream of new games is just a trickle. By 2011 there probably won't be any new releases. Last edited by Xero; 03-25-2009 at 10:11 PM. |
