Is he worth keeping around? (Charlie Haas)
So here's another name that his just been floating around for a while and I was wondering dose anyone think that Charlie Haas is worth keeping around/ maybe going back into the upper mid card race? He is a very accomplished athelete (two time all american wrestler in college), I always liked the Haas of Pain, I liked the "luchador masked"/ impersonater gimmicks for about 15 mins. Personally Stevie Richards did the impersonating gimmick better (when he came out with the Acolytes he had a peace sign, heart and smiley face painted on his chest, or when he taged with Val Venis he came out with the towel but nothing underneath). I wouldnt mind seeing him in a tag team again (maybe give him a hart foundation theme where he's the grappler and some big tosser behind him) or reform the World's Greatest Tag Team. So do you think he's worth keeping around or not?

No. They will never book him well. Unless they mean business about revamping the tag division and they reform the WGTT then they do not need Charlie Haas.

I completely agree. He's never really cut it as a serious singles wrestler, nor will he ever in my opinion.

And that's not really his fault. He's a good worker, but he will never be used as a serious singles wrestler. Plus, when your boss would rather watch grass grow than watch you work, there's a problem.

Haas is a great wrestler and he's not huge (physically)

It's sad because Haas is absolutely amazing in the ring, and has shown that he has charisma, and he has a great look.

But sadly behind every WWE main eventer there are 10 Charlie Haas's.

Charlie Haas is great in the ring. In my opinion, he is worth keeping. I think he would excel on the ECW roster. That being said, I don't do the booking so I don't see him being around for much longer.

Charlie Haas' wife is getting work with the WWE again (albeit one pay-day), so that is good for the man. Talent is not Haas' problem. The man is a fantastic wrestle, has a good look, and does have charisma (no matter what anyone says). He just specialises in a style that the WWE isn't focused on right now.

I have a feeling that there is a spot for Haas somewhere. I believe the WWE will be refreshing the mid-card fairly soon, and moving a lot of guys into the main event (like Shelton Benjamin, MVP and Umaga) or into tag teams. Sometime after the upcoming draft, I can see Haas in a solid mid-card program. The silly impersonator gimmick worked getting the fans to see a more entertaining side to Haas, and has helped him forge better connections with the crowd.

I'd say that Haas is definitely worth keeping around, but he should be used at least in a mid-card role.
