PPV Hockey Fight Tourny in the Works??

They say there are only three things that get hockey fans out of their seats- a great goal, a great save or a great fight. A Manitoba sports promotor is hoping to dispense with the first two and cut right to dropping gloves with a pay per view hockey fight tournament. "People stand up when there's a fight", said Brandon Man., promotor Darryl Wolski. "This is something that's never been done before." The concept of a television show featuring hockey fights first came up about three years ago, he said. Wolski plans to round up between 50 and 100 pugilists, who will each pay an entry fee of bewteen $200 and $250 to participate in the Hockey Gladiators show.

Um, there's a reason why it hasn't been done before. Because it's fricken stupid!! Actually, if it's in the spring it'll give The Canucks something to do when they get knocked out first round.
