Mike Adamle still under contract/new deal?

did I just read an aprill fools joke way to late, whats this I hear about him mnot being able to wait to go back and wantng to learn how to take bumps while on some NFL/Sports show in the states... Didn't he get another job with a network? I'm guessing they aren't doing another season of american gladiators making both adamle and hogan no chance at that gig (celeberty AG would be a good idea, before someone does it under another banner, you can even have the celebs play the gladiators instead, but i guess that can hurt some tuff guys careers)
