Will Michael Vick play in the NFL again?
...and if so, what team(s) do you think will take a chance on him.
Michael Vick will be released from prison on Thursday, and will be put into home arrest for whatever period of time. I think Roger "hypocrite" Riddell will let him back in because of the money it could make the NFL, and even more free media exposure. I think Oakland is the likely spot just because Al Davis is a senile ass old man. |

How would letting him back in make Goodell a hypocrite??
He's been out of the NFL for 2 whole seasons now and served his dept to society.. i see the Vikings making a major push for him, if this Favre shit doesn't go through.. |

I would say a definite yes, unless he gets suspended for like another 2 years or something.
As for the Vikings picking him up I doubt that, they already have an inaccurate scrambling QB why add another one that's been out of the league for 2 years? I wouldn't be surprised to see him jump on as a back-up somewhere and be a versatile player rather than just a QB. |

I could see St. Louis taking a chance on him. Their entire passing game is in shambles so they really wouldn't be hurting themselves by signing him. I don't see Bulger ever returning to form yet the Rams didn't go after a new QB so why not?

I still see him getting suspended next season, at least for a few games, anyone else feel this way?

Yeah I definitely see him facing at LEAST a 4 game suspension upon return. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see a suspension up to an entire season

I'd like to see his career finished. If not, have it finished by some NFL player who loves animals and decides to take a cheap shot on Vick. That'd be great.

I find it interesting that people aren't this strong willed against people who kill people while drunk driving. Mike Vick is tied to killing dogs and he is viewed as the most terrible human on the planet. I can understand why people think this way, since I assume most people probably have gotten behind the wheel at least once or twice while having a few too many but have not experienced and cannot relate to killing animals (well I should say killing dogs, people kill animals all the time). Even if someone has never drank I still feel like it would be viewed differently just because of intent and everything, still interesting tho
In my opinion I think he has served his time and deserves a 2nd chance. Last edited by Jesus Shuttlesworth; 05-20-2009 at 02:00 AM. |

A) You'd rather have Vick than Romo? Why?
B) No, he is never allowed to own a dog again. |

I think he should be allowed to play in the NFL again, I just don't know what teams are willing to take a chance on him. Surely someone will, but to punish him after he has spent the last two years incarcerated or under house arrest etc. would be asinine.
I see this situation different than I see the one with Pacman Jones, for instance, because Jones was constantly fucking up while on an NFL team. Vick fucked up, was released, convicted and has been serving his court ordered sentence. |

It is assumed they will release him, but I think they might try to find a way to use him.

Also, I can see a team going after him if this wildcat offense takes off. I really don't think that the wildcat will, I'm 99% it won't work with lasting success in the NFL, but if it sticks around for another year or two some team will definitely utilize Vick in that system, assuming he can make it back to the NFL.

Didn't bother reading all of this shit, but Vick will be back. He could land in St Louis, Seattle, or San Fransisco. I wouldn't rule out a stint with the Cowboys either. Could you imagine being the Quarterback who's playing in front of Vick? The team who picks up Mr Vick will need to have a former Falcon's staff member who used to felate Vick.
