So should Nash hang it up?
He's still in great shape but from what I've seen it doesn't look like he even wants to be in there. Like he's just going through the motions.

I'm a fan of Nash's character, but wrestling wise I thought he was going through the motions his entire career... ;o

His match at the last ppv was well done, I dont think he should be forced into retirement.
He still is funny and he has always been good on the stick, there will always be a place for nash. |

Nash is pretty terrible in the ring these days.

Kevin Nash is like one of those guys who is a cop their whole life, then instead of retiring, gets an office job at the Police Station.

I like Nash, dont get me wrong, but he is hardly the worlds greatest wrestler. And he's not particularly young now either. Maybe he does want to be there but just isnt capable of putting on a good match anymore. |

His body is aesthetically in good shape, but I'm pretty sure he's banged up as fuck, and let's face it, he wasn't the best guy in the ring at any point.

Nash openly admits he was washed up physically before he even got into the business. His knees were already fucked and he had undergone tons of surgery before he ever laced his boots for the first time. He's done remarkably well with the hand he was dealt, and during his prime years (1994 - 1997) was capable of having above average matches with capable opponents, and great matches with great opponents. Fair play to the guy.
Since he become uninspired and complacent in WCW (mainly due to the work environment and Hogan politics circa '97/'98), he's basically been hugely inconsistent and, let's face it, mostly worthless when it comes to bell-to-bell action. But he has charisma, intelligence, presence, timing, political savvy and can talk (when he can be bothered), so he remains a very 'employable' guy in the business. But it's certainly coming up to the time where he has to step away from the ring and contribute in other areas. I'm not the most ardent TNA fan, but as far as I can tell he was employed in a rather rewarding fashion for a long period of time without being an active wrestler. Nash doesn't need to be an active wrestler to contribute to the show, and when he does step foot in the ring it can often be to the detriment of the card, so common sense dictates that Nash is much more beneficial to the company as a peripheral inactive character. No? |

Nash has never been too over with the smart marks, so if Nash leaves wrestling, it shouldn't be because of his wrestling skills. And I think Nash has always been the kind of guy who does what he wants for the most part. If he didn't wanna be there, he wouldn't be, but he clearly feels like he has more to offer, and even though I don't watch TNA, since he is still there, the fans must be responding to him, so he should stay a while. He brings experience to the business, and is a name that can draw, love him, or hate him.
