				Greatest Trailers Ever

The world of movie trailers is a whole other dimension of the movie industry that often goes overlooked, or taken for granted. In a way, it's an artform of it's own. Post some of the best trailers you've seen for movies. Even if the movie didn't end up being very good. This Alien 3 trailer is incredibly misleading, but a fan can dream... Probably the best trailer I've ever seen... |

Partial credit to mitchables for posting the Back to the Future trailer in the Better Movie #9 thread, obviously inspiring you here. |

Sorry to Hornicane. I had to remove your post from my sig because its way to big, and messes up threads. I'll resize it some time

Can we discuss how awesome that T2 trailer is/must have been? I'm a fan of trailers that provide something exciting and interesting, but not tons of footage from the movie to spoil you silly. They do "teasers" now, but they usually just feature the movie logo and a familiar theme song. |

				               | This movie was released after Jamie Foxx's hit Ray. If you watch this trailer you would get the impression that Foxx is the leading man. No no. This trailer does a great job of hiding the fact that in Stealth, Foxx has the small role and actually dies not far into the movie. Genius marketing. |

Some of his movies aren't very good, but M. Night Shyamalan can make a damn good trailer. |

The Alien 3 trailer was misleading, yeah, but it wasn't intentionally so. They originally wanted to do an Alien invasion on Earth, but due to budget cuts and all the other stuff that happens when a movie gets stuck in Development Hell, they went through at least a dozen different scripts and directors before eking out the final version. [/fanboy] Anyway, my favorite trailers (though by no means my favorite movies) would have to be: And although these haven't actually come out yet: Last edited by Nowhere Man; 06-18-2009 at 08:23 PM. |

These are my top four trailers. All four of these made me feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Listed in the order of when they first came out. |

Don't really think they were all that great of movies, but i remember how excited i was when i saw these for the 1st time...especially the last shot of the "New Nightmare" teaser. And for the record, Sin City and T2 were the top 2 i've seen that took me back and remember thinking how i had to see them.. |
