Edge. I liked him for a while, then he got injured. it took him a while after he came back from neck surgery to become entertaining in the ring, but for the past two years (give or take a few months) he's been awesome. I think he started to become awesome again shortly before Lita left the company.

I was going to make a thread about this and I still may because I do like it, but....

I was reading Bret's book this weekend and he said the way he rated wrestlers when he was in his young WWE days was on a 3 category scale. Each category was rated on a 1-10 scale.

I will have to check again, but I think his categories were

Talking
Look
Workrate

And if your score was in the high 20's, you are a good wrestler. He acutally rated himself in the low 20's (good workrate, low for talking, middle for look)

Edge is by far my choice, although Ultimo did wonders for cruiserwieght wrestling in the states and Japan, I have to go with the 9-time world champion. Edge has been main-eventing for 4 years now and his work has been at an elite level, by far IMO the WWEs best heel over that time span.

Interesting, Dragon definitely had more influence and Edge is a WWE product and nothing more. I like wrestlers diverse, a person that travel the world(as in working for multiple organizations and learning different styles). I give this to Dragon

Well, no.

He was a great worker pre WWE, and a great talker post WCW. Edge has done both in the same show. for years.

Ultimo is obviously better in the ring, but for me... talking is a big part of it, as are storylines. That is just because I am mostly exposed to US style wrestling. As a result, I have the thinking that a great match will have you watching for as long as it goes, but a great fued or storyline can have you gripped to the show for weeks and months.

Therefore, I give this to Edge, because I think he is great, and when its all said and done, with the above justification, Edge has entertained me for hours more than Dragon.
