What are some games and moments that get you crazy hype, where you're fucking living the shit? I mean wild, bullet time, "I'm in another place," you-are-in-to-it mode? I'm not so much talking about it in a competitive sense, where you're just being flawless, but in a spiritual one-with-game sense.

Tell me now, go!
  • Devil May Cry, SSS status and/or huge amounts of action on screen.
  • X-Men Origins: Wolverine, using any one of his super moves to kill a bunch of fools at once.
  • GH: Met, Fade to Black solo.
  • Rock Band, the crowd singing on Enter Sandman.
  • Halo 3, triple killing and getting away with it.
  • Any fighting game, just facing somebody of similar skill and trading hits.

More when it comes to me.

Fallout 3.

I didn't think I could like any Bethesda game more than the earlier Elder Scrolls (Arena, I think it was?). Then came Morrowind later (think I skipped a couple inbetween there though). After that, Oblivion...

Now, Fallout 3 is still eating my life away. But I love every second of it.

Like when everything falls into place and I'm untouchable. Happens every now and then with fighting games, particularly of the Street Fighter series. It's like I'm channeling Daigo, even though I don't use Ryu in SF4 at all.
