Is He a Better Bad Guy or a Better Good Guy?
Use this thread to discuss whether certain actors/actresses make better bad guys or good guys, or whether they can swing both ways. I will toss out some names. Feel free to discuss prominent roles that have influenced your decision. Add your own!

I would say that with the exception of Walken, they're all better as good guys.
Someone like Travolta and Nic Cage is tough. I go with good guy by default, not because of them having real good performances as good buys, but because of how bad their runs as bad guys have been. Battlefield Earth, Swordfish, Face Off....I'll take the Travolta from Pulp Fiction and Look Who's Talking Nic Cage. I'd consider him a good guy in Leaving Las Vegas, so I'll go with that. Can't think of good outing for Sam Jackson as a bad guy. Has Brad Pitt even been a bad guy? |
