However, on 28 August 2009, after a fight between the Gallaghers in the backstage, their manager announces the cancellation of their concert at the Rock-en-Seine festival near Paris just minutes before it was about to begin, the cancellation of the European tour and that the group "does not exist anymore", referring a coming statement from Noel Gallagher

2 hours later, a little before midnight, on the band website, a statement of Noel Gallagher reads: "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer." "Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan."

The Gallaghers are a pair of prissy, nancy boys. Once they have finished sulking with one another, they'll be back together. Not that i care, as with the exception of "Champagne Supernova," Oasis have always blown.

really doesn't matter to me if Liam is in the band or not. Noel is the better singer and definately the better song writer in my opinion

you kiddin? magic pie is fantastic! i think i'm the only one in the world that thinks be here now is a brilliant album.

i would have been sad if this happened 10 years ago, but seriously... oasis haven't really put out a great album since Be Here Now. Dig Out Your Soul is their best effort since. i'm not surprised. liam has always been a cunt.

still absolutely one of my favorite bands of all time.

I liked Be Here Now. Standing on the Shoulder of Giants had some really good ballads and some utter crap. Then after that, they kind of sucked.
