DVD Ripping/Converting in one program.
Someone help me out here. What would be the best here? For Vista.

I'd prefer multiple formats if possible. (WMV, AVI, etc)

Recently I have tried a variety of programs for ripping and converting.

The best I have found for my personal needs (BTW I use XP) is DVD Shrink for ripping and then AutoGK for converting.

I haven't found one combined rip/convert package that works for me 100% of the time.

BTW, AutoGK is probably the simplest of the conversion programs I have used and also great quality output.

Thanks, I'll look into AutoGK. Knew about DVD Shrink, was just wondering if there was a decent all-in-one.

I should have said that AutoGK claims to Rip AND Convert all in one action however I haven't had any success with this which is why I rip with DVD Shrink first.

It may just be my settings or (I suspect) my DVD is on the way out so you may have better luck.

I use DVD Decrypter to rip and AutoGK to convert to and AVI MUX to sort out any sync issues.
