The Best Ever Episode of Monday Night RAW?
For me,
It was the night after the Survivor Series 2001, the show starts off with Vince firing Paul Heyman, Heyman attacks J.R., security carries Heyman up the ramp, as he gets to the entry way, Vince announces that Jerry Lawler is his replacement and Jerry comes out to a huge pop. Good opening segment. Then... At the top of the second hour, Vince McMahon is back in the ring and has the first member of the kiss my ass club, William Regal. Regal's facial expressions was some of the funniest shit ever and combining that with Lawler's uncontrollable laughter as it happened made it that much better. Then... The last segment of the show, Vince is in the ring with Kurt Angle and Vince is going to give Angle the WWF title when Ric Flair's music hits and he makes his return to wrestling and to announce that he bought part of the company and he and Vince are now business partners. Stone Cold comes out, slowly takes the belt off of Flair's shoulder, Flair smiles at Austin, they have beers in the ring to end the show. Probably the best all around RAW ever. Its been downhill ever since. Its weird to think that the infamous Katie Vick angle where Triple H dresses as Kane and pretends to fuck a dead corpse in a coffin was less than a year after this RAW. The highest highs to the lowest lows in such a short time. Worst angle in the history of wrestling. It outdoes David Arquette winning the WCW title in my opinion. Anyways, whose got a better RAW than I mentioned????? |

I can't remember the date.
But there was an episode where Austin came out during every match and just ended it himself and left. Then came back during the next match. And so on Best to me |

During the invasion, when ECW showed up. Amazing. I remember the boards having a bit of an anyerism when that happened.
Then the invasion got shit, but still. |

Mine has to be when Bischoff initiated the Gold Rush Tournament.
Had some of the best matches happen that night including the infamous Shelton/HBK match and also in the main event that night Benoit made Triple H tap out. The matches on that night were PPV quality and was just the goods. |

The Raw in 99 when Mankind won the title when Austin returned. Put some butts in the seats.

Can't tell a specific one, cause I don't really remember, but all those back in the attitude era when Stone Cold was feuding with DX, McMahons and The Rock were all awesome. Remember that I tried so hard to stay awake so I could watch it on DSF with german commentary.
Wow, I didn't even realize I have so many fond memories of SCSA. |

I kind of liked when they did the brawl for all. Those were fun to watch. Especially when Dan Severn knocked Marc Mero, I believe?, on his ass.

I'd go with either the night Rock and Foley faced in the pink slip on a pole match and Big Show lost the title to HHH, or the following week when Foley returned and the Radicalz debuted.

I miss the times when titles would change hands not only on PPVs.

Then WCW and the WWF ally to take on this new threat... only for the WWF to be swerved! It had all the makings of the greatest angle of all the times! We all know what happened then, though. |

Jericho's debut is still my favorite debut of a wrestler of all time (or since I've been watching wrestling). The way the clock counts down, then everything goes black, and then JERICHO flashes on the screen while crowd was roaring in excitement.

Either the ECW moment like 10 people mentioned already. What a fucking promo by Heyman. I remember that night like it was yesterday.
That or.. remember when every episode for several months involved DX beating the crap out of everyone? when Kane dated Tori and he got backstabed and disappeared for a bit? Then during a RAW..I don't remember the main event..but it involved Too Cool, The Rock against DX I think. Kane showed up with Paul Bearer and ripped everyone a new one. I remember marking the fuck out when that happened. Back then Kane was my favorite. |

My personal favorite RAW ever:
In the year of our Lord 1999, I truly realized why I was a wrestling fan and why I would always be a mark for THE GAME. Triple H showed a passion and an obsession for being the absolute best in the world at his craft, and as a young boy...I knew that I wanted to be like Triple H. I wanted to break JRs arm, smack The Rock with a chair, pedigree Mankind into the mat, and all do it in order to obtain my destiny as the single greatest performer of all time. Thank you, Triple H...this episode of RAW truly showed me what "determination" meant. ALL HAIL THE KING!! Last edited by James Steele; 10-03-2009 at 01:44 AM. |

I actually kind of liked some of the older Raws. Bret Hart feuding with Stone Cold, HBK, ect...The Hart Foundation re forming.

Me too. The episode after Wrestlemania 13 was top notch.
Then there was that one where Austin kept attacking Bret throughout the show. Then he got put into an ambulance at the end... only for Austin to be driving it. |

The last good raw was when Angle Wrestled Shelton in an amazing match then, at the end of the night after Cena beat jericho Angle came out and destroyed Cena.
Not the best though |

Generally, any RAW where Cena gets destroyed is a good one.
There was this one last year that ended with Jericho having Cena in the Liontamer (not the Walls) after he got beat down by Legacy. |

September 1997. The first RAW @ MSG when Stone Cold first stunned Vince. This also had a great falls count anywhere match between Triple H and the "debuting" Cactus Jack
I'm also quite fond of in February 1997 when ECW invaded the Manhattan Center. Heyman's line I'll never forget: "Your challenge has been accepted! ECW is in the house!" |

If we're talking shows that were (mainly) hot from start to end, I was going to list:
MSG, Sept 97: first McStunner and Cactus Jack debut. August 99: Jericho debut, Ventura return June 01: ECW shows up and forms the Alliance with WCW (only dampened by Steph showing up) Naturally, each of those has already been mentioned. There may be one or two more I've forgotten, but those were the three that instantly came to mind. |

I seem to remember the post WrestleMania XIV edition being shit-hot too. Can't remember exactly what happened... I think it was X-Pac's debut, and the first fully-fledged McMahon heel performance (having been very subtley acting slightly heelish for a while beforehand)
Think it was great throughout but I can't properly remember. |

Although there are so many worthy RAW's from the Attitude era and even 1997, one RAW that really stuck out for me was when Jericho defeated Triple H to win the World title for the 1st time (well.....technically it never happened, but still).
The other RAW that stuck out for me was when Triple H and |
