Also, I'm pretty sure I'm actually more of a videogame music nerd than I am a videogame nerd. I mean, I've heard countless soundtracks of games that I've never even played ffs.

ALSO also, what happen to music in videogames being memorable and awesome. I mean there is a lot of stuff that's not bad, but nothing like the 8 & 16 bit eras.

I've played 3 hours worth of Final Fantasy 10, and there wasn't a single track I could remember after shutting it off. That is unacceptable.

I still remember it like it was yesterday..we got our first home computer around 1996. I had crappy games so my friend offered to come over and show me a computer game that would blow my mind: Red Alert.
The music was my favorite part. All the weird techno dancing seemed like it did not fit at all with a war game..but as you played more and more..seeing crap blow up everywhere and jets flying around..it began to fit. Still my favorite.
