I can't believe WWE never mentioned that Ron Simmons was the first black world champion. Like NEVER. I could understand when wcw was competition, but after the buyout? I didn't even know until today.

Definitely needs to go in the hall of fame for that and his tag accomplishments.

Simmons was only ever made World Champion cause Flair was gone, Sting was out with an injury and Vader was facing a legal problem at the time....and plus Bill Watts wanted to make himself look simpathetic to the minority wrestlers.
