Wow, I really didn't have you pegged as someone who would like the Who. They are indeed a good band. As far as Pearl Jam, meh, they're ok. Not terribly into their music, but I do appreciate that they didnt' go super mainstream when they easily could have.

They're one of the best bands of our generation and perhaps the best band out there right now.

Every album is different in a good way, no decline.

Concerts are fantastic.

Vocals stupendous.

Instrumentation superb.

And oh yeah, they do Who covers that sound better than the originals.

Also, this thread bugs me. If I listen to a band, and I don't like it, that's the end of the story. I just don't listen to them again. I don't get upset because other people like the band and I don't feel the need to let the world know I don't like the band. Why do people like to announce that they don't like "popular" bands that other people like?

Cause I listen to the local rock station on my radio and they are alway on. Fuck, yesterday at noon Pearl Jam literally took over the radio, that is what it was called, Pearl Jam takes over the radio. And it pissed me off enough to do this.
