Video Poll #2: The Best Return on RAW
Vote for the best return on RAW. ***Note that debuts are different than returns so something like Goldberg showing up on RAW in 2003 is a debut, not a return as Goldberg was debuting in a new company that he had never been in before***
Triple H returns to RAW at Madison Square Garden The Rock makes a surprise return to RAW 1 week after Austin quit. The Rock returns in 2001 when Vince lifts his suspension. Ric Flair returns to RAW in 2001 after Survivor Series after 8 year absence. Stone Cold returns to RAW to help WWF during Invasion angle. Chris Jericho returns to RAW in 2007 Vince McMahon returns to RAW in 2000 Kane returns in 2000. Edge returns in 2004 at the draft. Thr Rock returns to RAW to help Mick Foley 2003. |

Definitely Rock. I'll go with the 2003 one for the Lillian/Strudel reference.
Jericho's also awesome, as usual. And, these reminded me how awesome it'll be when Edge returns next year. ![]() |

These are some awesome returns that I chose for the poll, but the Triple H one at MSG was just awesome.

Triple H coming back in the mecca of Sports Entertainment, Madison Square Garden. It was epic.
The debut was delayed a few times even like the Unforgiven PPV had a sledgehammer as a part of its logo/PPV animated logo. I don't know if a return ever had a larger response. The Rock returns were great, but they weren't ever returns from injuries. They were returns from filming his last blockbuster movie time and time again. The Rock wanted so much to leave, Triple H wanted so much to come back. For that, Triple H gets my vote. |

Jericho!
Coz it's Jericho! The years without him were hard, but when it started building towards his return, well, see Dave Youell's post. Some of the others were cool, but this one had me most excited. |

I also have a feeling that Edge's return will get a similar reaction if they have it in a "wrestling city" (ie NYC, Philly, Chicago, Canada)

Most of these are great but rock returning when austin quit is my choice. I just wish he would go back and watch what he said. Nobody was better at entertaining than he was. This is what he was put on this earth to do. Its sad to know that his talent and "love for this business" is being wasted.

Jericho's return would've been a lot more effective for me had he not looked like a magician.

Triple H's was epic but I personally always liked Ric Flair's return. Austin's during the Invasion angle was from a bar IIRC so it doesn't really have the same effect as the others. I had forgotten how cool Kane's was in 2000. The others I either didn't see live or didn't really care much for.

Triple H's ovation is even more incredible when you consider he was a heel when he got hurt...that first roar when he stepped onto the stage still gives me a bit of a chill.

HHH's return by far...it is hard to match that return, for all the reasons mentioned before.

The Kane one in 2000 was incedible. I can't see the videos, but if it's the one in the 10 man tag match, then definately that's my favorite

All of these returns are great, J.R. calling them and adding the emotion factor to them makes them that much better.

I went with Flair's Return the night after the 2002 Survivor Series....simply for I've always been a Flair mark and because no one ever saw it coming...most people forgot during the WCW/ECW Invasion Angle they teased there being someone in the background behind it all. If you remember the Smackdown after Raw when Stephanie Mcmahon was revealed as the Owner of ECW, they talked about how Shane and Steph sold all their stock in WWE to a buyer in order to finance WCW and ECW's rebirth and how they had everything riding on this. Then they stopped mentioning it until poof....here comes Flair out of no where.....plus I loved the McMahon vs Flair as GM's at the time of the Raw and Smackdown brands respectively.
