There was a thread on this not too long ago. It's a Wii exclusive so it's not really on my "to buy" list. I'm a huge Nintendo fan but, as far as the Wii is concerned, it's unlikely I'll get anything outside a new Mario/Zelda.
I like the concept of the game though. If it turns out to be a five star game, I may give it a whirl. Apparantly, they are thinking about making a movie of the game already. |

It's not a problem. Hopefully this thread gets more replies than the last one. New artwork looks darker than i thought it would be. It's not "mature" dark but it's pretty dark by Mickey Mouse standards.

Doesn't look like it. Oh well, I'm a Donald Duck guy anyways.

The back story on how this game came to be is very interesting, it involves Disney's original mascot and what happens to cartoons that get the chopping block. Probably would've made an interesting feature.

Supposedly the very first character created by Disney is expected to be the main bad guy in the game, Oswald the Rabbit.
Weird since back then Oswald was the good guy while Mickey was the mischievous guy. |

Yeah the story of the game is Oswald has grown bitter and jealous of all Mickeys fame and is trying to get revenge on him for it.
The game's has you use the Wii remote as a paint brush to bring colour back to the dark world Oswald has created. |

Yeah, that's the gist of it, but I read in the GI article that you don't have to play the good guy all the time, you can still be mischievious, or you can play as a mix of good and bad.

When I first heard of this game and people saying it's going to be dark mickey I was like whatever...
but the more screenshots and art work I see..I can feel myself a little excited to be honest. I specially love the robot bear shot. The game play..sounds..okay at this point..I guess I will wait to see what they do with it. |

I believe the bar with Mickey's face changes based on if your good or bad.

Maybe. if it does, I hope it result in different things happening. It'll be useless if we can be good or bad but it's still just one narrow series of events and an ending. Fable II is a good example of allowing us to be good or bad and it making very little difference overall.
Another peice of concept art, apparantly: ![]() |
