How Does Ash Feed His Pokemon?

I mean... I've seen Pikachu eat with Ash, and it's been made clear that Pokemon need to eat as usual as any other animal. Yet Ash and his rotating group of friends rarely have enough food to feed his collection. I figured Pokemon go into some sort of hibernation when they're in their Pokeballs and they don't need food nearly as much.

Also, do Pokemon eat other Pokemon? How about people? Do people eat Pokemon? Would you?

Also, we've seen some Pokemon talk - like... people talk, with fluent English. So why not... every Pokemon be trained to talk instead of saying their own name? This would make battle communication way better, as the Pokemon could simply relay his posture with his master during battle.

Ash: "Alright, Gligar, use X Attack!"

Gligar: "I'm not rested enough, perhaps I can try this attack instead!"

One more thing, the fucking show is over a decade old. I'm angered that they're not even attempting to age Ash in some way physically. It also makes me wonder how time passes in fiction compared to real life. I pretty much gave up on Simpsons with their shameless retcon a while back, and I'm used to how comics do it, but certain media needs to be sensible about it. I could rationalize that each episode is a day in their universe, so Ash could still look the way he does...

But fuck that.
