Wrestlers with great chemistry
Was inspired to make this thread after seeing the Cena/Lito promo on RAW. I always thought that these two have had great chemistry together. The promo was solid, even if it did end in typical Cena "donkey kong" fashion.
Can be guys that have either great ring or promo chemistry. Don't have to be "main eventers". Another one that immediately comes to mind is Regal/Benoit Narcissus spite tour of 2020. I have kids. Last edited by Nark Order; 12-01-2009 at 03:16 PM. |

That Regal/Benoit match was really good I remember watching it.
Regarding your question: Triple H/HBK Kenta Kobashi/Mitsuharu Misawa Danielson/Mcguinness London/Michael Shane HBK/Edge Edge/Cena There are many more I just can't think of them. |

There are some wrestlers in my mind who seem to have great chemistry with almost everybody. People like Jericho, HBK, Edge, Danielson etc.

Paul London and Jimmy Wang Yang come to mind when I think of guys with chemistry. Their series of matches against each other on Velocity were more than the sum of their parts.

I disagree with Cena/Edge. They have good chemistry now, if that counts, but I remember that when they began their feud in '06 those matches were straight up boring. And I'll just list my best from the 3 top promotions of today.

I was gonna say Regal/Benoit too. One of my favourite matches was the one they had at No Mercy 2006. So brutal, I bought the DVD just for it.

Can't believe nobody's said Angle/HBK actually. Their match at Wrestlemania 21 is probably my favourite of all time.

I'd like to see the Sheamus big boot/Carbon Footprint rip-off into a pin on Finlay from Survivor Series developed into a program between them that could culminate at Mania next year, assuming of course that Sheamus doesn't win the WWE title at TLC (just because he's only been around 5 or 6 months, I'm not gonna put it past anyone to put the gold on him as a transitional champ thing...)

I think Papa Shango had great chemistry. He was always with the potions and stuff.
Seriously though, I'm surprised they never did a "mad scientist" gimmick with some guy coming out with a labcoat and beakers of liquid and stuff. |

Snitsky/Heidenreich played well off each other, and I was sorely disappointed that the backstage encounter from whatever pay-per-view it was a few years back never even resulted in so much as a measly grudge match...

Some from my memory...
Austin and Owen Hart had great chemistry, both were really crazy Shawn Michaels and big guys (Hall, Nash, Hogan, Sid, Vader, The Undertaker, he even gave Khali a good match) That always seems to work somehow. Bret Hart and Diesel, I really love all of their matches Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett had great chemistry as a tag team I don't remember in the ring though Marc Mero and Steve Austin had great chemistry Mankind and Triple H have some of my favourite hardcore matches ever |
