ECW, SmackDown! and Superstars Spoilers

Dark Match:
- Shelton Benjamin def. Tyler Reks who cut a heel promo on the crowd before the match.

ECW:
-Jack Swagger comes out and cuts a promo about returning to ECW for the Homecoming and shows a video package of himself.

-Abraham Washington Show. He made some Tiger Woods jokes since its in Orlando and then his guests were Trent Beretta and Caylen Croft. Segment was kind of pointless.

-Vance Archer def. Goldust in a qualifying match for the ECW Homecoming.

-Yoshi Tatsu def. Jack Swagger in a qualifying match for the ECW Homecoming.

Superstars:

- Ezekiel Jackson vs. Vladimir Kozlov either ended in a double count or DQ, I went to the restroom and by the time I came back it was over so I didn't get to see the result.

- Kane def. Mike Knox.

- Drew McIntyre comes out for an interview and John Morrison interrupts and tells him on the New Years Day edition of Smackdown he gets his rematch for the IC Title and then they brawl.

Smackdown:
-Vickie is in the back hosting a cooking type segment where she talks about what she likes to cook for the holidays. Hornswoggle shows up and starts eating the turkey she made.

- R-Truth, Matt Hardy, John Morrison and Finlay defeated CM Punk, Luke Gallows, Drew Mcyntire, and Dolph Ziggler when Morrison pinned Ziggler.

- Chris Jericho comes out and cuts a promo and says he and Big Show should still be # 1 contenders and not the Hart Dynasty. Hart Dynasty come out and they say they respect him but they are the best ever period. DX comes on the tron and says they have a gift for Jericho which is a tickle-me-big show and show a graphic of it and when you tickle it, it farts. Shawn also has a gift for the Harts and its a one way trip back to Canada and he shows a graphic of what they can enjoy in Canada such as Hockey and Bears. Jericho tells the Hart Dynasty that is what DX is all about and tonight they have to "make an impact". Hart Dynasty then lay out Jericho with the Hart Attack.

- Rey Mysterio vs. Undertaker ended in a DQ when Batista came out and attacked Taker. Segment ends teasing a triple threat between them.

- Cryme Tyme def. Two guys who's name I didn't catch. Squash.

- Mickie James and Maria def. Layla and Beth Phoenix. Michelle McCool was on commentary. Beth laid out Mickie after the match.

- Another backstage
segment with Vickie and Teddy where they talk about desserts. Hornswoggle comes in and pies Vickie and Teddy ends up getting a pie too.

- DX def. The Hart Dynasty. Afterwards Hornswoggle came out and it ends with DX and Hornswoggle in Santa hats posing and Hornswoggle saying Merry Christmas.

Dark Match Main Event:
Undertaker def. Batista with a tombstone.

I've got to say, I am a little disappointed that Jack Swagger isn't in the ECW Homecoming thing. I would love to see him and Christian work together, with Swagger eventually winning back the ECW Title, and then dropping it off to Shelton Benjamin, or someone.

As for SmackDown!, the most remarkable thing to me seems to be the tension they set up between Jeri-Show and The Hart Dynasty. Seems to be testing the waters for David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd as babyfaces. Perhaps for a Bret Hart return?

Swagger losing is disappointing, but Yoshi isn't a bad talent so I'm fine with it. The one that bothers me is Vance Archer is on the road to getting a shot at Christian. Goldust should have advanced.

So did I miss something here? When did Swagger go back to ECW? Was it a 1 night only deal or is he back there for good?

In case we werent sure or not of Swagger getting buried, I think this pretty well answers it.

And I though Beth was acting like a tweener on SD last week, but her attacking Mickie afterwards says shes still a heel.
